About the Role

Avato Laboratory is an ISO-certified food and water testing laboratory seeking a Sample Collection Officer to join our team. The role involves fieldwork, collecting and transporting samples from client locations, and ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with strong attention to detail, good physical fitness, and a passion for laboratory support services.

Key Responsibilities

Collect samples from customer locations, industrial sites, and field sites as per company requirements.

Ensure proper collection techniques and maintain sample integrity during transportation.

Deliver samples to the laboratory following established protocols.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships.

Travel across Sri Lanka for field sample collection.

Maintain accurate records of all collections, including location, time, and client details.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Valid driving & riding license for both motorcycles and light vehicles.

Minimum A/L passes or equivalent (Science stream preferred).

Previous experience in sample collection or laboratory work is an advantage.

Physically fit for fieldwork and frequent travel.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Candidates from Homagama, Kottawa, and Pannipitiya areas are encouraged to apply.
